Cavas Gramona is one of the most renowned wineries in the world of cava and has a long tradition dating back to 1850. Located in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, its elaborations are able to express all the elegance and identity of a markedly Mediterranean terroir and defined by the excellence of long bottle breeding, the common denominator for the largest sparkling wines in the world.

Luxes made the integral reform of lighting for this important client in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia. Better illumination, greater color reproduction, more modern installations that result in an increase in visibility and a decrease in consumption.

It must be taken into account that lighting inside a cellar, whether at home or at a specific location, should not interfere with the ripening process of the wine or cause any type of “damage” to the wine.

For this special feature, special emphasis should be placed on choosing a good lighting for the chosen place or wine cellar.

Generally the cellar lighting should provide sufficient light for reading the labels, performing tastings and moving, without exposing wines to excessive heat and UV light. One of the easiest ways to control the intensity and brightness in a room and create a pleasant atmosphere is to use a dimmer.

Track lights and downlights for general lighting are very common options. LED lighting has more lumens per watt and longer lifespan. LED lighting is particularly beneficial because of its low UV emissions. LED lighting also offers many options such as track lights, downlights (recessed), furniture lighting and accent lighting. All of them can even be controlled with a dimmer (regulator).
