LUXES is responsible for lighting the Criteo offices in the 8,500-square-meter Oktree building on Calle Almogàvers (Barcelona).
Criteo, a company created in Paris in 2005, specialized in Digital Marketing, grows considerably by increasing its workforce, that is why it leaves the Mapfre tower (Barcelona) to settle in the Technological part of Barcelona in a building known as the mile of gold from 8,500-square-meter techie hub, located on Carrer Almogàvers, this will be the second largest office in Europe only behind Paris.
In this case it has been a great challenge for the lighting in which LUXES has been commissioned, taking special care and affection with each structure so that the lighting is adapted to the needs of each environment, that is why each space in the building has been studied in detail to offer the best lighting experience.
Each space has a specific mission, there are the meeting rooms where it is important to focus the light on the ceiling to illuminate the central table, the offices with equipment
IT systems where artificial light is used together with natural light to avoid staff fatigue, waiting areas, rest areas, corridors, stairs, emergency exits …
For lighting, natural light, the standards and regulations recommended for each of the activities carried out in the different spaces have been taken into account.
LUXES is in charge of the project that counts as a starting point the lighting and the efforts to design a balance between the ambient light and the contrast of the shadows, thus allowing to create an environment that facilitates the activity of the staff in each of the environments, it is for that different luminaires have been used, surface and suspended, ceiling and wall, recessed, decorative, linear and LED modules.

The decorative and aesthetic lighting of the spaces has also been designed taking as reference the furniture, paintings and objects that are presented in the structure and trying to reflect the values in which the company is defined.
Lighting in offices is very important and should facilitate comfort when exercising our activity, avoid fatigue and visual fatigue, provide security, foster relationships with colleagues and have spaces to rest and clear the mind.
