Baró i fills

The technical lighting project for Baró i Fills is developed within the framework of the modernization of its industrial facilities, with the aim of improving energy efficiency, visual safety, and the quality of the work environment.

The intervention seeks a balance between luminous performance and comfort, enhancing the readability of the space and ensuring optimal conditions for daily activities of production, storage, and management.

Lighting strategy

The proposal is structured around a high-performance LED lighting system, designed to provide uniform and continuous light throughout the entire space.

The linear arrangement of the luminaires responds to the geometry of the space and the distribution of the work areas, optimizing the relationship between lighting levels, energy consumption, and visual comfort.

The neutral color temperature (4000 K) promotes a clear and balanced perception of materials and surfaces, while the high color rendering index (CRI > 90) ensures accurate identification of products and tools in handling areas.

Architectural integration

The lighting design is precisely integrated into the existing architectural structure, respecting the modulation of trusses, ducts, and visible industrial elements.

The lighting enhances the spatial reading of the whole and helps to create a clear, organized, and functional atmosphere, aligned with the company's image of efficiency and professionalism.

In office and customer service areas, the technical solution is complemented by recessed lighting and adaptive control systems that adjust light levels based on occupancy and available natural light.

Comfort and energy efficiency

The project prioritizes energy efficiency through the use of low-consumption LED technology, DALI control systems, and presence and light sensors.

This strategy allows for a significant reduction in electricity consumption and extends the lifespan of the lighting fixtures, minimizing maintenance costs.

The control of glare (UGR<19) and the optimized photometric distribution ensure visual comfort and workplace safety, even in areas of prolonged work or high visual demand.
