Wireless control based on Bluetooth Mesh

CASAMBI is a control system for LED lighting that operates over Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and structures the installation through a mesh network.

This means that each luminaire or compatible device not only receives information but can also retransmit it, acting as an active node within the network.

The result is a distributed, flexible, and scalable system capable of managing regulation without the need for a wired control bus. This allows for turning on, off, dimming, group control, scenes, timers, and integration with sensors from the system app.

Clear advantage in renovations, retail, and dynamic spaces

One of the great benefits of CASAMBI is that it eliminates the additional control wiring, leaving only the power supply for the fixtures.

Technically, this simplifies installation, reduces construction time, and minimizes intervention on the existing architecture. Therefore, it is especially effective in rehabilitation, retail, hospitality, and office projects, where the space tends to evolve and requires scene changes, area redistribution, or frequent adjustments in lighting design. Additionally, the presentation indicates that it can be integrated with DALI, 0–10V, and PWM drivers through compatible modules, which expands its use in hybrid solutions or upgrades of existing installations.

High flexibility, but with clear prescription criteria

From a technical perspective, CASAMBI should not be understood as a universal substitute for all protocols, but rather as a particularly efficient solution when flexibility, speed of implementation, and ease of reconfiguration are prioritized. Its limitations include the inherent range of Bluetooth, the need for compatible equipment, and a lower suitability for extremely large projects or those with very complex control structures, where wired systems like DALI can offer a more robust architecture.

Nevertheless, for lighting projects where customization, intuitive control, and continuous adaptation of the space are sought, CASAMBI represents a tool of high technical and operational value.
