Andorra Offices
In 2020, the comprehensive renovation project for the M.E.S.A. showroom in Andorra la Vella was developed. The firm, a leader in the construction materials sector and also specialized in the treatment of marbles, granites, and Silestone, sought to completely renew its exhibition and corporate space.
A common design language
The project was structured around a unifying formal element that repeats in the ceiling and walls: a series of wooden beams that provide rhythm, order, and visual coherence. These beams, in addition to defining the geometry of the space, allow for the concealment of installations through a false ceiling that creates a more intimate and welcoming atmosphere. In their extension towards the walls, the beams also serve as structural support for the cabinets located behind the display tables.
The furniture and lighting, developed by LUXES, maintain this same rhythmic pattern and contribute to the integration of all areas, favoring a continuous reading of the space. The showroom was conceived as a place where clients and promoters can feel comfortable and at ease, a relaxed and harmonious environment designed to inspire the creation of new projects.
Lighting as architecture
From the early stages of design, light was conceived as an essential component of the architectural project. Beyond its technical function, lighting acts as an active element that shapes space, accentuates geometry, and enhances the sensory experience.
A completely customized lighting solution was designed, integrating warm light lines between the wooden slats of the ceiling. This resource enhances the structure and rhythm of the design, adding depth and coherence. The lighting merges with the architecture, balancing functionality and aesthetics without being visually overpowering.
Every detail—from the selection of optics and color temperatures to the format of the devices—was carefully adapted to reinforce the corporate identity and enhance the quality of the work environment. The result is an immersive and sophisticated atmosphere, where light becomes an expressive medium and a generator of well-being.
A flexible and functional space
The lighting design required a spacious, agile, and flexible area that facilitated both product display and close customer interaction. To achieve this, the modular and continuous ZULYT system from LUXES was installed, allowing for the configuration of different lighting scenes according to the needs of the showroom.
The ZULYT 55S surface profile acts as the system's matrix, allowing the incorporation of ZULYT 55SK LED modules, POLE TRACK suspended luminaires, and TUBE TRACK projectors to highlight specific areas or products. This solution provides versatile, efficient, and high-precision lighting, adapting to both work zones and exhibition areas.
